We love our new home furnishings! Cathers did a remarkable job of listening to our needs and giving us what we wanted. Not only were we happy with the furnishings but they were able to manage their trades to make improvements to the house as well (paint, flooring, etc) in a very tight timeframe. They were professional on all levels. We would highly recommend.

Amanda and Preethi have been very professional, reliable, and easy to work with from start to finish. They listened to our needs and quickly began creating a plan. Cathers Home offers a wide selection of furnishings as well as excellent sub-contractors such as painters, electricians, and window covering specialists. Most items were not available to see, sit in, touch and feel before purchase, so that part of the process required quite a bit of trust, but it all came together beautifully. If you are willing to spend some money on your home, you will be very happy with the results.

Lynn and I have floor-to-ceiling renovated five homes prior to our current ongoing renovation project in Carbondale, Colorado. We never thought it necessary to seek the advice of an interior designer but decided to bring in some professional help as the current project REALLY needed some changes. Frankly, I was skeptical given that we were very pleased with the results of our previous remodel projects, but Lynn was insistent that we engage Amanda and Preethi...I am so glad she did. We live out of state and had begun our relationship with Denise and the Cather’s staff via phone and email. Once we made a trip out to visit the showroom and meet Denise, we were immediately blown away. She got our design aesthetic down perfectly without even meeting us. That was so impressive! A true designer. She really listened to us and what we were wanting! Everything she showed us we loved and we recently got our first order of furniture in and are so happy with the end result. We wanted to refurnish a small room and also add some decor in our home. We had been into Cathers and liked their selection, but we aren't the best at decorating - so we needed help. We contacted Cathers to see if they could help us select pieces that would fit our space and our taste/comfort. Diane and her team happily agreed to help us! Denise and the total team at Cathers are a talented design professional choice for your design project.. From start to finish they helped me transform my home from a being very outdated to a modern mix of style, still keeping the basis of the traditional home. We worked with Denise and Amanda at Cathers to redesign the main living space in our modern home in Aspen. They were excellent - not only did they work with us to arrive at an overall plan that was exactly what we wanted, they suggested some great improvements that we would never have thought of. One big one was to install some hanging lights to lower the perceived ceiling and make the space more comfortable. They are very good at selecting furniture and fabrics, with access to many great producers that would be hard to find on your own. Finally, I really liked their collaborative style. On a few of the pieces we went back and forth quite a few times to find something just right - and in one case, we wound up buying from somebody else, which they were fine with. So overall, a very good experience.

Denise and Amanda at Cathers Home helped me recreate the interior of my home to reflect my personality. They worked with my existing pieces where possible by adding accents that would liven up the space, and helped me find new pieces to make more of a statement. We required new furniture for all rooms of our new home, including the living room, dining room, three bedrooms and a basement. Given the intersting architectural features of the home, we really wanted to have a design expert help us maximize the beauty and functionality of the house in order to match the needs and style of our busy family. We could not have asked for someone better to help us meet these goals than Denise Taylor. She is the consummate professional...she asked the right questions and listened carefully to our answers, she provided her tasteful input by showing us several best options and then guided us to the optimal choice, again by asking questions and listening carefully. The outcome was fabulous and we have had many, many compliments from friends and family on our home. Denise is clear, honest, kind, and dependable. It would be hard to imagine Cathers having the reputation it does without Denise Taylor and the interior design skill she brings.

We contracted Cathers Home and their in house designer, Gigi Podolak, to help us update out home in Snowmass Village, with the goal of achieving a more "Mountain Contemporary" look. What originally started as a one room project grew into doing the entire home because of the great work they did initially. Not only were we absolutely happy with the finished design and furnishings, but really enjoyed working with Gigi and the entire Cathers Home team. They are very talented designers, were responsive to our feedback and able to work within the budget we proposed. The scope of work included new furniture, rugs, window treatments, lighting and accessories. We could not be happier.

Cather's has done an excellent job at transforming our home, since initiation of our project to completion they kept up to date on deadlines, and accommodated the family with temporary furniture during the holiday gatherings through the life of the project. The design staff and fabricators that took part in this project we're all professional, courteous, and respectful. Helping to culminate our rustic contemporary desires. Having Paul Cather's, himself, come out to the view the project during a carpet install, showed his dedication and passion for his profession. Total Project Time Including Custom Furniture, Built-ins, Lighting/Electrical, Painting, and Wallpaper was approx. 5 months till completion. Cathers Home did an excellent job furnishing our investment property. As both a real estate professional and a consumer, I was more than happy with the end result! I was thoroughly impressed with how easy they made the project - I live in Tennessee but was coordinating the design for a Colorado home. Their timely ability to provide imagery was very helpful for this project that needed to be completed quickly. The design team did a beautiful job with such a large space, and really understood our end goal as well as the clientele this property would attract. They came in under the budget we established, and even offered up creative solutions to save even more. It was also nice to have many selections available - from furniture to artwork, to bedding - in many different pricepoints. Working with Cathers Home was enjoyable and easy, and we will gladly use them again!

My highest recommendation to the Cathers Home Team!! If you are looking for a special experience in design, Cathers Home is the place to go. It’s hands down the best group I’ve ever worked with. Drawing on ski trips and home shows in Aspen and Vail, I wanted to include these influences in my mountain top home in Vermont. When I asked them to help, the Cathers Home design team was ready. It is great to experience the designers, Denise Taylor and Gigi Podolak, in their combined services...interior architecture, design and decorating in one shop. In our 2-day meeting in Basalt, these inspired designers first offered drawings to use my 26-foot ceiling (in one area) to define the space with beams. Colors from fireplace stone samples set the tone for materials. My dream kitchen, which would have required a structural change, a long beam, is somewhat modified, still looks mostly the same, and I like that it is improved, to my satisfaction and relief. Denise and Gigi created 3 separate kitchen options with each option expanding the design throughout the open concept living area. With the layout for the master bedroom settled, they added three options for the master bath. We took time to walk through the store to consider rugs and furnishings. I could do my house from the store! Conversation was lively in the design studio. The talent, skills, enthusiasm and great respect of the designers and the owner produced great ideas for living and entertaining in our home. It will be so much better for their efforts. I highly recommend these designers and decorators and believe everyone can expect this level of service from Cathers Home! Cathers Home out of Basalt did a wonderful job on our house! I appreciate how easy and quick they were to work with. Had just a few months to furnish an empty house to get it ready for vacation use all while I live two states away.
