Ashley is an amazing world-class designer. She has such an exceptionally stylish eye when it comes to contemporary looks and modern architecture and that's basically why we chose her originally. But then we were so impressed by her vast product knowledge and sheer know-how (which really sets her apart) that we kept asking her for more and more. Ashley has a natural born gift, obviously refined over many years of being in the business and it shows in everything she creates with such ease. We recently hired her for key areas in a new construction residential project after I realized how complicated selecting & ordering tile alone is for a whole house, much less wallpaper and everything else. And she really saved the day by relieving so much stress. We trusted her, paid her a portion of our project expenses up front to get started and Ashley delivered every step of the way beyond expectations. She's truly a gem!

Working with Ashley was a JOY! She was able to capture exactly what I wanted in our home. Our home needed a 'face lift' to reflect our personality and energy and she was up to the challenge. The structure of our home stayed the same but every other aspect of the home was updated. From our modern and bright new kitchen to our spa/hotel like bathrooms, Ashley helped choose materials that were fun, modern and within budget. Ashley Roi Jenkins Design was secured and brought into a complete home rebuild project due to extensive damage caused by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. We had 4 feet of water in our home, and so we had a critical need for interior redesign and reimagination - Ms. Jenkins delivered both. From creative concept iteration and innovative renovation ideas in every room, to color palate choice, to impactful staging ideas, her Design team delivered a bold yet elegant makeover we are just thrilled with! Let importantly, this was an unprecedented experience for us to go thru. While we had challenges with multiple contractors and sub-contractors over the year and two months it took to rebuild, Ms. Jenkins was responsive, adaptive, and sensitive to our circumstances.

Ashley has been a real pleasure to work with. She helped us create our dream kitchen by making timely suggestions and helping us source products and refine our choices for the kitchen.. She was always courteous, and professional on all aspects of our process. We look forward to working with her in the future.

We hired Ashley to help us upgrade our great room (which is very spacious and was essentially a blank canvas) and make it really feel like...well...us. This was our first real foray into a significant design job so we naturally had a ton of questions. Ashley did a great job putting us at ease by walking us through the end-to-end process. She didn't try to change our aesthetic, but also challenged us by providing ideas and concepts that we wouldn't have thought of on our own. She was always very thorough and organized. She was a really, really effective project manager - there were a ton of moving parts, contractors, deadlines, etc....none of which we could have managed on our own w/ 2 young kids and full-time jobs. We love the finished product. It really feels like...well...us!

I bought a total fixer upper a few years ago. My business had just picked up and I had no time to deal with my town home in Uptown Dallas. Fortunately, my gut instinct to completely trust Ashley was right! She interviewed me to get a clear idea of what I wanted and she FAR exceeded expectations. We were able to sell for top dollar and buy a single family home. You should hire ARJ without any hesitation to renovate, design or to buy furniture/art. I hired Ashley Roi Jenkins to handle the design of the extensive renovation of my 3-bedroom Victorian in the Castro district. Upon our first meeting, I could tell that she was the one for the job, and I never wavered in that decision. She was so professional and creative and knew exactly how to blend sleek, high-end appliances and finishes with some of the original and charming aspects of the flat. Because I was renovating it as a rental, I needed advice on the degree of the improvements, the most appealing, timeless and durable fixtures and finishes, and still keeping within certain budget constraints. There could not be a better working relationship between Ashley, the contractor, Tiziano Straccia (Leonardo Construction) and myself. I felt included in every aspect of the renovation and it proceeded so smoothly - our communication was almost always via email, and any questions or worries I had were promptly addressed. Even though I do not live in the area, I was always aware of the status of the project, and via drop box, I could see the progress and even view the choices in appliances, fixtures, and finishes. I had the utmost confidence in her vision and talent. When finished, and I saw the completed renovation for the first time since our first meeting, I was completely awed! It is beautiful and surpasses every dream and expectation - it is perfect! Nothing but high marks for Ashley Roi Jenkins Design.

I really enjoyed working with Ashley Jenkins. She listened to our lifestyle needs/desires and provided some great 'out of the box' designer ideas which we would not have otherwise considered. She has great color style which is incredibly helpful to make the house and rooms flow nicely. She plans her schedule to work with your schedule and is fair in her approach. I would recommend her!

Ashley at ARJ is simply the best and really is the ultimate professional. My space was never a "home" and after four years of living in this space, it was time. Ashley was extremely responsive, respectful, and beyond organized. I pushed back and didn't want to get out of my comfort zone, but Ashley's tactful approach helped push me out and ultimately created a home for me that I absolutely love. She continuously checked-in and made sure I was comfortable during each step of the design process. With her research and constant options, I felt like I was well taken care of. When it came to budget, Ashely stayed completely to the budget I initially provided to her and told me where to splurge and how to save. She was very sensitive to the fact that I had a strict budget and she really optimized it to make sure I got everything I wanted for the price that I needed. If it had been up to me, my place would have been grey, beige, and brown. Now, it's colorful, homey, and timeless. Thank you Ashley. Now her next mission is to get me to leave my amazing home.

Ashley helped me find some key pieces for my new apartment in San Francisco. The pieces were the perfect compliment to my current furniture and the aesthetic of the building. Ashley was easily to work with and a joy to be around during the process.

Ashley Roi Jenkins Design, LLC has provided a variety of services for me over a period of about 2 years. Ashley provided interior design services for my home in San Francisco and design and construction management services for my former home in Walnut Creek, which had to be substantially remodeled due to a flooding incident. Ashley was effective in working with the general contractor on the Walnut Creek project because she communicated clearly and firmly to him what our design decisions had been. She was also familiar with a range of possible solutions for various products at differing cost points. Of course, since the Walnut Creek house was older (50+ years), we experienced some challenges on this project due to finding unexpected damage and required upgrades. But in the end, the Walnut Creek house looked great. Ashley can furnish you photos of that. For my San Francisco home, Ashley was in the awkward position of starting to work with me after another designer--with whom I'd worked elsewhere for many years--became unavailable for my project. Preliminary interior paint choices, carpet and window covering decisions had already been made when Ashely began her work on this project. For example, Ashley most recently worked with me and an outside drapery designer/workshop to provide durable draperies adjacent to the kitchen and also re-work existing draperies brought over from the Walnut Creek project. Ashley also sourced for me a beautiful Steelcase living room sofa and a custom study/guest room sofa, as well as some smaller related items, such as lamps and sofa pillows. I also recently followed Ashley's advice about updating some recessed lighting in the San Francisco property. As one of her ongoing clients, I work with Ashley because she is knowledgable about sources for the types of furnishings and products that interest me. She's worked well within the pre-existing parameters imposed on her from my earlier work with my previous designer. I recommend Ashley because of her professionalism, knowledge of sources for and characteristics of the furnishings that I like.
