As a young man, I was always trying to “fix” and repair everything, from the car to the siding on our house. My Father was a contractor and, as far as I can remember, so was I at heart. I love New Orleans. I was raised here and would never call any other city home. The people that make up this great city are why I made my business and life here. I graduated from East Jefferson High School in 1990. I played all state linebacker, took 3rd place wrestling, and placed 2nd in district in track. I attended Hinds College in Raymond, MS, on a football scholarship. In 1992 I joined the 1846 Carpenter’s Union, went to the apprenticeship program, and graduated with the highest marks in my class. I then started working for Woodrow-Wilson as a general contractor. After 1 year there, I became foreman and stayed with them until I started A-1HOME IMPROVEMENTS in 1996. In my free time, I enjoy fishing, coaching a little football, and spending time with my family. I absolutely love working with the people of New Orleans, and giving them the service that I expect, for over 15 years. I guarantee ALL of my work and will always be there on time. I supervise all work from beginning to end.
