Front garden focal point

A triptych of three chamaecyparis nootkatensis 'Van den Akker's whimsically speak to the porch columns while a flat slab of stone engages the sidewalk and pulls it into the larger landscape. A planting of blue dune lyme grass between slab and vertically-placed boulder softens the vignette and speaks to the other blue foliage located in the perimeter garden. Photo by Jay Sifford
