JSQ IMPROVEMENTS

We recently hired JSQ Improvements to build our new pool and spa. We could not be happier with the results. Kandi created a beautiful design based on our needs. Jim’s crew worked quickly and efficiently. They even went the extra mile to help us make landscaping decisions. We highly recommend their services.

I would highly recommend JSQ for your home improvement projects. We hired Kandi & Jim in early February for a major overhaul of our backyard with a pool, spa, built in bbq, seating, patio, etc. It was quite an undertaking, but we knew we in great hands from the start. Project started a few weeks later and remained on schedule throughout the entire job even with the pandemic taking place. JSQ’s work crew is amazing and they were all easy to work with. Victor & Tomas are so skilled and go above and beyond. Communication was great as Jim & Kandi are easy to get in touch with and we were able to stay on the same page throughout the job. We decided to add some features in the backyard once the job got going and it was a seamless process with their expertise. We also decided to use JSQ for an entire front yard overhaul and they were able to combine it into the existing work and knocked it all out perfectly really, really fast. The quality is amazing and we are so pleased with how our dream.

We couldn't have been happier with JSQ Improvements!! Our pool is truly a dream come true! We had been wanting a pool for over a decade and finally decided to move forward. Kandi drew up the rendering and showed us the YouTube video of what the pool and spa would look like. We were blown away! We had no idea our backyard could be this amazingly beautiful! Overall, the entire project took exactly 5 weeks. None of our friends believed it could be done that quickly and they were beyond shocked when it was. Kandi had told us it would take about 6 weeks ~ they finished a week ahead of schedule. We have had so many compliments as it wasn't just a pool/spa build, it was an entire backyard makeover! On top of everything, we developed a great friendship with both Jim and Kandi. JSQ Improvements are the best custom pool contractors out there!

The work and effort put forth by this team was outstanding. Kandi and Jim were both professional and friendly. To prove this point, as a Fire Captain, there would be days in a row that I was not home while they worked on the pool, leaving my very large golden retriever alone. They were very careful as to where he was at all times as to not cause him any injury, and still gave him lots of loving attention. They not only achieved what they promised, but went above and beyond. They were full service, even upgrading the electrical box and offering to do the landscaping. Due to the project being done so close to Thanksgiving, I opted to wait on the having the landscaping done. The work ethic that was shown by every member of the team was of a very high standard. I have no reservation in recommending this company. You will not be disappointed.

I can only begin to express how pleased my wife and I are with everything Kandi Queen & JSQ Improvements did for us when remodeling our home. Surprisingly, we invited Kandi & JSQ to bid on remodeling our pool – they are primarily a pool company – and after meeting her, we asked if they’d be interested in remodeling our entire home! My wife and I are extreme workaholics and have been saving for 10 years to buy our dream house. When we finally purchased, our next step was to make that house our home, but with a work and two small children demanding all our attention, we expected a lot of difficulties with a project of this scale. My wife and I immediately felt a trust and connection when meeting Kandi about our pool. Moving onto our house, we found Kandi even more helpful. She turned our ideas into a vision and demonstrated that she really cared. When we had trouble expressing our vision clearly, Kandi provided multiple options for us to weigh, and always had something that fit perfectly. From design concepts through managing contractors to final touches, she went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our satisfaction. Kandi handled the expected issues, as well as the obstacles that ultimately creep into every home improvement project, with the utmost professionalism. At one point, an entire stretch of concrete poured in our backyard began to buckle, and within 48 hours, the poor concrete had been removed and new concrete poured to perfection without additional cost or wasted time. I am admittedly a bit of a control freak and anticipated a challenging experience when remodeling our home. Kandi’s knowledge, skills and demeanor removed all worry, allowing my wife and I to stay focused on the bigger picture of creating a warm, comfortable home for us and our children. We now have an exquisite pool, a beautiful home that really reflects who we are, and are extremely grateful to Kandi. We would recommend her services to anyone with a remodeling or a specialty pool project. In fact, I've already referred her to our neighbor and friends. We had a pool to remove and a new one to create - Kandi saw the job through with patience and creativity from start to finish. She was thoughtful about our space and maximized the use of each area. I interviewed and got quotes form a few different companies when looking to get our pool built. We ultimately went with JSQ and could not be happier. They exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and build time. Jim and Kandi with JSQ Improvements helped create our own private backyard oasis! We couldn't be happier with the outcome. From the start of the project, the vision was created and turned into reality in about 8 weeks, both on time and within the initial budget established. The quality of work, communication, and design was everything we were looking for in our project. After discussing our project with several different companies, we went with JSQ based upon other reviews, projects, their commitment to staying on budget and schedule. As with all large-scope construction projects, there are setbacks and unforeseen difficulties of all shapes and sizes, and our recent pool build certainly had its share. However, when problems arose, Jim and Kandi were responsive and efficient in resolving any issue at hand, much to our great delight and satisfaction. We couldn't be happier with the final product's look and performance. We shopped around for contractors before deciding upon JSQ, and we are thrilled with the choice we made.
