We contacted Dana in 2016 and we’ve been in contact ever since, she did the interior design for our entire house and also for our attic, which we’ve yet to convert but it was really great to get some ideas of how we could potentially convert it and design it. She was extremely professional, efficient in her responses and very helpful. She created 3D visuals of each room enabling us to envisage the final look. I really like the style she picked for our house, which is mixing contemporary with period features making it both stylish & colorful. Her tips on where to buy furniture, lighting, storage ideas, which paint colors to use etc. meant that I didn’t make mistakes and in every instance it worked out just perfectly and thus costs me less in the long run. Dana also put in a great deal of research when presenting different options to us on every aspect of the interior design. I can’t praise her enough for doing such wonderful work with our house and making our house a home.

Dana helped us to design and decorate our apartment, we went through her portfolio and really liked her work. It was bold, fresh, energetic & modern approach, which really suits us, as we are young and looking for more adventurous design. From the very beginning Dana was very clear and transparent with the service scope and and different service types . We had already some furniture and decorations previously bought and she seamlessly incorporate them into the design. She never forces her ideas onto us (as some designers like to do) , she always listens to our ideas/opinions and understood our vision of dream apartment. What is more she gave us lots of options to choose from, also price-wise (so we can stay in our budget) where to source certain products and builders etc. Dana was always available to us to answer even the most trivial questions with full professionalism. Even when we didn’t go with her recommendation of carpenter or tiler etc ( time availability wasn't right) she still performed quality control on our behalf to ensure that we are in safe hands and that the project will run smoothly and we will have the home we dreamed of. We strongly recommend Dana to anybody who is looking for fresh customised design that’s suitable to yourselves, but not a designer showroom without soul.

We were moving in our new house and, being impressed on what Dana delivered with a friend, we asked her references to evaluate the possibility of working with her. We asked her help to design our living room and our bedroom specifically, plus suggestions throughout the house. We are very happy with the support that Dana gave us during all the project phases but most importantly, we are very happy with the result. The two spaces she designed for us are a perfect reflection of who we are and we really enjoy both areas now. We wouldn't have gone with the same items, color and shape and probably made a disaster by ourselves :) We highly suggest Dana!

I hired Dana last year and we fully renovated 1 bedroom apt in Dublin. She helped me from the beginning to the end. From the initial survey to the first drawings to a 3D model. From choosing the furniture to supervising the builders. Dana helped me to realize my dream modern apartment. She is reliable and respects the deadline agreed. I live in a relatively small one bedroom apartment. I've always struggled with space and storage as well as being clueless about decor and colour schemes! I had tried various things to make it feel both practical and homely but all I succeeded in doing was spending more and more money and still not being happy. I initially thought that getting an interior designer to help was a little extravagant but I was completely wrong! My apartment is finally a home that I love. I am proud to entertain friends there and I have comfort that I never had before. Everything I asked Dana for was delivered- bigger kitchen with amazing storage ideas, extra space and beautifully decorated throughout. I could never have imagined it before and could certainly not have come up with anything even remotely close. And now that it's done, I know I won't need to spend any more money on it for a long time to come. I would highly recommend Dana to anyone looking to improve their home. Excellent job from start to finish- we engaged Blackfox Interiors to provide a turnkey design & fit-out service for our new office in Donnybrook, Dublin 4. Works included Concept Design/ Contractor selection/ Project Management of fit-out including install of glass partition offices & acquisition of all furnishing and contents. I just brought a new 2 bed-room apartment, needed help from an interior designer to come out with a concept. Dana was was patiently sharing different designs and suggestions by having an upfront discussion in person and on site. Her suggestion was very close to my preference and ideas, therefore i saved a lot of time revising the concept plan. Not having previous experience of renovation or decoration, I have Dana not just for concept design, but also project management. Dana would ask quotations from different vendors and comparing them; she also suggested cheaper solutions such like IKEA when applicable. Therefore, I have a well designed and equipped apartments with mix price range of items and furniture. Dana is also very responsive, attend to details, and full of ideas. I highly recommend Dana for her great service and professional skills.

Dana from Black Fox Interiors managed extensive work on my apartment, from concept to delivery. She listened to all my requirements, put a scope of works in place which was invaluable,was strong on advice throughout the project, managed the building works (she partnered with a great building team) and was on hand whenever needed. Dana also gave a lot of input into interior design, and offered some fantastic ideas that I wouldn't have thought of myself. Dana did a lot of research to get me the best prices on the bathroom and kitchen, which saved me a lot of time and money. Her follow up when the project was completed was great also. Our brief for Dana was to reimagine the ground floor interior of our house, to brighten it up and to modernise it. The house is a typical 1950's semi-d suburban Dublin home, that was partially renovated about 10 years ago. We left the plan entirely in Dana's hands, with two provisos: we wanted to knock the wall between the front and back rooms to create a door and we wanted to re-use our existing furniture, with as few additions and substitutions are possible. We asked her to create a home suitable for the family expanding from two to three whilst incorporating a sense of lightness, modernity and fun. We also wanted to increase the storage and make better use of the space available. We were impressed with Dana's ideas and enthusiasm from the first meeting and it didn't take us long to know we had found the right person for the job. The contractors were a mixture of those hired directly by me and those by Dana, but she dealt as easily and professionally with both and was very flexible with accommodating their time frames. All the contractors recommended by Dana were professional and provided high quality workmanship. Dana stuck to the budget and plan at all times and didn't try to impose out of budget ideas or items on us. She has a real talent for making the most of the budget provided. We are very pleased with the results, the house has been transformed on a limited budget and we wholeheartedly recommend Dana.
