Beach houses
I love the all white with the sparkle from both chrome and brass. The pendants definitely say “nautical”. Not too crazy about the chairs. The blue in the island grounds the kitchen - RR: agree with you on the pendents and hood, Don't like the barstools and we have ours already - will send pics. would prefer a different gray or aqua for island
This is a really cool kitchen. A mixture of modern and beach. The “paneling” on the island and cabinets gives the shiplap feel, the backsplash is white but the tile says modern—could also be done in traditional subway. The “windows” at the top of the cabinets add light—and I’ve seen this in a couple of the other photos—kind of a “port hole” look —don’t know if it’s necessary. . .Probably not. . . Love the white ceiling and touches of brass along with the chrome hardware. It’s a nice mixture of modern and traditional RR - definitely a cool look
I love the clean crisp all white look. The hardware and pendant hardware is all chrome, adding a little sparkle. The shades to the pendants could easily be clear. It’s grounded with hardwood floors, a little too dark for me, but they, and the chairs, add warmth. I love the traditional subway tiles. It’s a very versmatile look that can be updated by whatever is put on the island or what is used on the chairs for upholstery. I prefer stainless stove hoods but the white blends in with everything else. RR - too much white, and the dark floors too dark for us - prefer the driftwood gray mix. Contrasting island will help. I am thinking of using the mirrored backsplash we have used in Tahoe to bring in more views and light behind the stove and some contrasting
This is another white kitchen with a sea foam green island. This, to me, had a more traditional/formal look. Again, brown floors for warmth. They chose the dark metal pendants and matching hardware except the uppers have glass knobs. There’s too much going on here for me, but the over all feel is more formal RR - agree too much going on and floor is too "busy" for me want a more neutral
This shows another view. The floors are a grayish brown
