Canyon Lakes Interiors
I like how bright the colors in this room are and I really like the bright pink. With the pink couches, its really too much for me to live with everyday, but it reminds me how much I like bright colors. I do not like the rattan (I think that's what it is) headboard. ROB: I could handle pink as accents.
ROB: I don't like the open cubbies for shoe storage. We would just have piles of shoes in each.
I like the rug, desk & bookshelf. Not a fan of the chair. ROB: I like the rustic wood of the desk, plus the simplicity of the design.
I like this bookshelf. ROB: I've always like these kinds built-in bookshelves.
I don't like all the beige, but something about this space just seems cozy and homelike...ROB: Yeah, cozy, but bland.
I love almost everything about this space, except the color scheme which I find to be too monochromatic (I want something bright somewhere) and the curtains (which I feel we would never close b/c there are shades on the windows). ROB: I agree with Alexcis on the overall feel of the space. Don't like the bench. I like the idea of an armchair in the master bedroom, but not sure if it the would fit with a desk in the room as well. Maybe an upholstered office chair? Hmm.
No....
Same room different angle. I wasn't sure I would like a chair, but I do...
The bed is a little bland in color, but I like how clean and crisp this room is. And while I'm not a huge fan of beige, I like what I can see of the headboard.
No.... ROB: Too ornate
This is sort of how I envisioned our entry way, except on a smaller scale and without a bench (since we sit on the stairs) and a place for shoes instead of small drawers... ROB: I wouldn't be opposed to a bench. We sit on the stairs because we have no where else to sit. The storage drawers are nice. When we get home we end up just tossing our things around. A drawer would conceal any disorder.
I can't pinpoint one specific thing I like about this, but I just like the feel of the room. But, at the same time, I'm not a big fan of the giant black cabinet and feel like it overpowers the room. ROB: I like the overall seating arrangement. Don't like the wood chair. Comfy chairs would be best. An ottoman/coffee table would turn into another bed for Riley, which would limit it's use as a table. An actual coffee table with a hard top and space underneath for our legs in case we want to sit on the floor, would be ideal.
Absolutely Not! Too busy, rug is hideous, does not really seem put together. And that ottoman/coffee table thing is horrible. Although I have seen ottoman/coffee table things that I like...just not that one
Love this floor even more! I also like the open, light feel of this room. Like the chair/pattern on the chair in the back right corner of the photo. Not a fan of the paisleys on the rug.
I love the floor! Dislike the coffee table
