[Kitchen] We like this concept – step stool storage in toe kick
[Entry] We'd love some natural light into the entry - (maybe a door with opaque top panels, glass panels on either side of door, or a small window above the closets on the right side of the door). We like the wood bench, but would love to explore a harder wearing floor material (maybe a light slate or large format porcelain tile). We like the chandelier as a focal point – and think we'd want to install Devesh's parents' chandelier with maybe a matching sconce or two. The wallpaper opposite the door is a bit too busy for our tastes, but we like the idea of something fun on the wall opposite the door – maybe a console table and mirror on (less busy) wall paper?
[Master bedroom] We really like how this master suite is relatively spacious, but manages to be both comfy and uncluttered, and how it incorporates three larger picture windows and a seat in the corner. We’re not married to the bench at foot of the bed, but having some accessory seating in the master suite would be nice
[Master bath] We like this master bath photo *a lot* — it has a lot of the components we want, and is close to the finishes/materials we envision. If we get the bump out in the master suite, this window layout would be great – skylights above the sink, clear glass shower enclosure, and window in the the shower. We like the lighter large format porcelain tile and floating vanity, but we *must* have undermount sinks. We also think the scone lighting placement is off here – we want lighting either integrated into the mirror or directly adjacent to the mirror, at eye level
[Master/Kids/Guest bath] We like a *bunch* of aspects of this bathroom: • Floating vanity • Undermount sinks • Clear shower glass enclosure • Darker large format tile floors • Wood cabinetry with lighter quartz counter • Gina likes the wood framing on interior window, and Devesh is relatively indifferent
[Kitchen] We are intrigued by the idea of different color/material uppers and lowers. We like the idea of a lighter upper cabinets and darker/more distinct lowers. The lower cabinetry and refrigerator panel read a little too busy to Devesh (he'd prefer solid color), but Gina likes the wood-on-wood contrast. Gina likes the wood cabinet on wood floor look, but Devesh would probably prefer solid color/painted cabinet fronts with wood flooring. We both like the clean look of slab upper cabinets with no visible hardware (though neither of us want a gloss finish).
[Stairs] For the first run of stairs - from the kitchen to the first landing - it might be nice to build in some storage (if we don't think it would take away too much light). We’d like to explore how much (if any) shelving we’re putting into the living room. We also haven’t talked much about A/V and where we would be able to place one subwoofer...
[Master bed] We like the clean & simple component of this bedroom – nuetral fabric bed, graphic rug, and simple (but tall) nighstands and bedside lamp. We like the idea of a tall fabric or leather headboard as the focal point of the bedroom (it's similar to the bed we have today: https://www.roomandboard.com/catalog/bedroom/beds/avery-bed-with-storage-drawer with 64" height)
[Front Door] Gina also liked this three-panel glass front door also in the more traditional Craftsmen-y style
