A complete refurbishment of an elegant Victorian terraced house within a sensitive conservation area. The project included a two storey glass extension and balcony to the rear, a feature glass stair to the new kitchen/dining room and an en-suite dressing and bathroom. The project was constructed over three phases and we worked closely with the client to create their ideal solution.

A room which the couple weren’t sure how it should be used. We suggested a baby grand piano for two reasons, i.e the piano speaks to elegance and it offered an opportunity for the children to take lessons (which they have done). The soft shades of gold are seen in the faux painted horizontal stripes on the walls. The silk fabrics used in the window treatments and seating add to the soft warmth and everything is grounded by the Saxony wool and silk red and gold area carpet. Susan Currie Design planned a space to use for fun gatherings to watch sports and play games. Bright yellow and grey pillows along with the flame stitched rug add interest to the grey upholstery used on the new sectional. The leather ottoman with nailheads gives the family a place to put up their feet or the added seating they need for parties. An industrial table with stools compliments the metal media cabinet below the television.

Beautiful contemporary LA cool reception room with gas fire, antique bronzed glass, feature concrete floating shelves, contrast yellow. Rich velvet tones, deep buttoned bespoke chesterfield inspired sofa. Bespoke leather studded bar stools with brass detailing. Antique 1960's Italian chairs in grey velvet. Industrial light fittings.

The sitting area is adjoining to the larger living room. Mimicking the same hues, this area features a pink silk velvet sofa with nailhead detail, ivory faux shagreen nesting tables and a large leather upholstered ottoman. To create the airy Key West feel, a vaulted ceiling was added in the great room by redistributing the roof load with an 8’x18’ engineered ridge beam for support.
