These homeowners came to us to renovate a number of areas of their home. In their formal powder bath they wanted a sophisticated polished room that was elegant and custom in design. The formal powder was designed around stunning marble and gold wall tile with a custom starburst layout coming from behind the center of the birds nest round brass mirror. A white floating quartz countertop houses a vessel bowl sink and vessel bowl height faucet in polished nickel, wood panel and molding’s were painted black with a gold leaf detail which carried over to the ceiling for the WOW.

Cabinets: This powder bath features WWWoods Shiloh cabinetry in maple wood, Aspen door style with a Dovetail Gray painted finish. Countertop: The 3cm countertops are a Cambria quartz in Galloway, paired with a matching splashlette. Fixtures and Fittings: From Kohler, we have an oval undermount vanity sink in Mirrored French Gold. The faucet, also from Kohler, is a Finial Traditional Wall-Mount Bath sink faucet trim with lever handles and 9-3/4” spout in French Gold.

ATIID collaborated with these homeowners to curate new furnishings throughout the home while their down-to-the studs, raise-the-roof renovation, designed by Chambers Design, was underway. Pattern and color were everything to the owners, and classic “Americana” colors with a modern twist appear in the formal dining room, great room with gorgeous new screen porch, and the primary bedroom. Custom bedding that marries not-so-traditional checks and florals invites guests into each sumptuously layered bed. Vintage and contemporary area rugs in wool and jute provide color and warmth, grounding each space. Bold wallpapers were introduced in the powder and guest bathrooms, and custom draperies layered with natural fiber roman shades ala Cindy’s Window Fashions inspire the palettes and draw the eye out to the natural beauty beyond. Luxury abounds in each bathroom with gleaming chrome fixtures and classic finishes. A magnetic shade of blue paint envelops the gourmet kitchen and a buttery yellow creates a happy basement laundry room. This powder room design in Newtown makes a statement with amazing color and design features. The centerpiece of this design is the blue vanity cabinet from CWP Cabinetry, which is beautifully offset by satin brass fixtures and accessories. The brass theme carries through from the Alno cabinet hardware to the Jaclo faucet, towel ring, Uttermost mirror frame, and even the soap dispenser. These bold features are beautifully complemented by a rectangular sink, Cambria quartz countertop, and Gazzini herringbone floor tile. Linda McManus

Installing under counter sinks into a quartz bench top is easy to clean. Constructing a nib wall behind the vanity provides a break-in the otherwise flat wall. Dimensional layering provides added interest to the vanity area.

This sweet Powder Room was created to make visitors smile upon entry. The blue cabinet is complimented by a light quartz counter, vessel sink, a painted wood oval mirror and simple light fixture. The transitional floral pattern is a greige background with white pattern is a fun punch of dynamic-ness to this small space.

This bathroom had lacked storage with a pedestal sink. The yellow walls and dark tiled floors made the space feel dated and old. We updated the bathroom with light bright light blue paint, rich blue vanity cabinet, and black and white Design Evo flooring. With a smaller mirror, we are able to add in a light above the vanity. This helped the space feel bigger and updated with the fixtures and cabinet.
