Principal Designer Danielle Wallinger reinterpreted the design of this former project to reflect the evolving tastes of today’s clientele. Accenting the rich textures with clean modern pieces the design transforms the aesthetic direction and modern appeal of this award winning downtown loft. When originally completed this loft graced the cover of a leading shelter magazine and was the ASID residential/loft design winner, but was now in need of a reinterpreted design to reflect the new directions in interiors. Through the careful selection of modern pieces and addition of a more vibrant color palette the design was able to transform the aesthetic of the entire space.

Industrial Shaker Style showroom kitchen with oak cabinetry. The base cabinets are hand painted in Farrow & Ball Down Pipe and have an oak worktop. The shelving is a birch shaker peg shelf and open oak drawers are visible below. The Shaw's farmhouse sink with Perrin & Rowe taps are also visible. Una struttura ricettiva accogliente alla ricerca di un linguaggio stilistico originale dal sapore mediterraneo. Antiche riggiole napoletane, riproposte in maniera destrutturata in maxi formati, definiscono il linguaggio comunicativo dell’intera struttura. La struttura è configurata su due livelli fuori terra più un terrazzo solarium posto in copertura. La scala di accesso al piano primo, realizzata su progetto, è costituita da putrelle in ferro naturale fissate a sbalzo rispetto alla muratura portante perimetrale e passamano dal disegno essenziale.

After removing an old hairdresser's sink, this laundry was a blank slate. Needs; cleaning cabinet, utility sink, laundry sorting. Custom cabinets were made to fit the space including shelves for laundry baskets, a deep utility sink, and additional storage space underneath for cleaning supplies. The tall closet cabinet holds brooms, mop, and vacuums. A decorative shelf adds a place to hang dry clothes and an opportunity for a little extra light. A fun handmade sign was added to lighten the mood in an otherwise solely utilitarian space.

When a property developer approached me to design a show apartment for his townhouse development in a hip part of London, Sean Symington Interior Design used the architecture of the new build to dictate the design direction. The space was contemporary and for me, bordered on industrial with its pale grey tones and crittall doors and windows. I knew instantly that I wanted a paired-back, Scandi vibe with warm leathers, and rattan juxtaposed by the white walls, iron and glass. I think the result is rather full of personality, whilst still appealing to a wide range of buyers.

This beautifully appointed wraparound extension in Peckham is a fine example of the modern industrial style which has become so popular in recent years. The exposed brick wall, painted steel beam and Crittal style doors are all striking features which have become synonymous with this edgy style. The frameless glass roof with black aluminium fins ties in perfectly with the Crittal style doors and floods the space with natural light. The terracotta tiles give a unique warmth to the space and the Shaker style kitchen provides a more traditional contrast. It all comes together to create a wonderful kitchen/dining space which is perfectly suited for the family or entertaining.
