Upon moving to a new home, this couple chose to convert two small guest baths into one large luxurious space including a Japanese soaking tub and custom glass shower with rainfall spout. Two floating vanities in a walnut finish topped with composite countertops and integrated sinks flank each wall. Due to the pitched walls, Barbara worked with both an industrial designer and mirror manufacturer to design special clips to mount the vanity mirrors, creating a unique and modern solution in a challenging space. The mix of travertine floor tiles with glossy cream wainscotting tiles creates a warm and inviting feel in this bathroom. Glass fronted shelving built into the eaves offers extra storage for towels and accessories. A oil-rubbed bronze finish lantern hangs from the dramatic ceiling while matching finish sconces add task lighting to the vanity areas. This unique project has heavy Asian influences due to the owner’s strong connection to Indonesia, along with a Mountain West flare creating a unique and rustic contemporary composition. This mountain contemporary residence is tucked into a mature ponderosa forest in the beautiful high desert of Flagstaff, Arizona. The site was instrumental on the development of our form and structure in early design. The 60 to 100 foot towering ponderosas on the site heavily impacted the location and form of the structure. The Asian influence combined with the vertical forms of the existing ponderosa forest led to the Flagstaff House trending towards a horizontal theme.

The Two-Person Japanese Soaking Tub from DiamondSpas.com was made out of stainless steel and at 4' high it requires two steps behind the tub to enter/exit. The tub fills from the ceiling for added drama! Don't worry about bathing in front of the window, as the window glass fogs with the switch of a light.

This uniquely designed home in Seattle, Washington recently underwent a dramatic transformation that provides both a fresh new aesthetic and improved functionality. Renovations on this home went above and beyond the typical “face-lift” of the home remodel project and created a modern, one-of-a-kind space perfectly designed to accommodate the growing family of the homeowners. Along with creating a new aesthetic for the home, constructing a dwelling that was both energy efficient and ensured a high level of comfort were major goals of the project. To this end, the homeowners selected A5h Windows and Doors with triple-pane glazing which offers argon-filled, low-E coated glass and warm edge spacers within an all-aluminum frame. The hidden sash option was selected to provide a clean and modern aesthetic on the exterior facade. Concealed hinges allow for a continuous air seal, while premium stainless-steel handles offer a refined contemporary touch.

The intent of this design is to integrate the clients love for Japanese aesthetic, create an open and airy space, and maintain natural elements that evoke a warm inviting environment. A traditional Japanese soaking tub made from Hinoki wood was selected as the focal point of the bathroom. It not only adds visual warmth to the space, but it infuses a cedar aroma into the air. A live-edge wood shelf and custom chiseled wood post are used to frame and define the bathing area. Tile depicting Japanese Shou Sugi Ban (charred wood planks) was chosen as the flooring for the wet areas. A neutral toned tile with fabric texture defines the dry areas in the room. The curb-less shower and floating back lit vanity accentuate the open feel of the space. The organic nature of the handwoven window shade, shoji screen closet doors and antique bathing stool counterbalance the hard surface materials throughout.

Our New Home Buyer commissioned HOMEREDI to convert their old Master Bathroom into a spacious newly designed Contemporary retreat. We asked our designer Samantha Murray from SM Designs to work with our client to select all required tiles from our tile distributor. We then extended full contractor pricing toward the purchase of all fixtures used in this Spa bathroom. One of the unique features of this bathroom is a large 40"x40"x32" Japanese style soaking tub. Once this magnificent project was completed we asked our professional photographer Chuck Dana's Photography to capture the beauty of implementation. Lots of credit also goes to our clients who worked with us and our designer to fine tune their requirements. We are privileged to make their imagination come to life in this magnificent space.

This master bath retreat combines matte stainless fixtures and accents with natural bamboo cabinets creating a space full of interest. The cabinets are wall hung which opens the floor space, making the room feel bigger. The Japanese stainless soaking tub was chosen for both the unique metal finish, as well as the special size, fitting perfectly in this small space. The shower pan mirrors the tub, by using stainless steel mosaic tiles. The shower wall tile wraps into the toilet room, bringing in floor to ceiling interest and texture. A trough sink allows for two faucets, while keeping the counter free from the visual clutter of two separate sinks in this small space.

This master bathroom is a true show stopper and is as luxurious as it gets! Some of the features include a window that fogs at the switch of a light, a two-person Japanese Soaking Bathtub that fills from the ceiling, a flip-top makeup vanity with LED lighting and organized storage compartments, a laundry shoot inside one of the custom walnut cabinets, a wall-mount super fancy toilet, a five-foot operable skylight, a curbless and fully enclosed shower, and much more!
