Maximizing the potential of a compact space, the design seamlessly incorporates all essential elements without sacrificing style. The use of micro cement on every wall, complemented by distinctive kit-kat tiles, introduces a wealth of textures, transforming the room into a functional yet visually dynamic wet room. The brushed nickel fixtures provide a striking contrast to the predominantly light and neutral color palette, adding an extra layer of sophistication.

This upstairs bathroom features Southern Tiles marble floor and half height wall tile combined with a subway tile from Academy tiles in neutral colours. Caeasarstone benchtop below a feature timber shelf and oval mirror.

We planned a thoughtful redesign of this beautiful home while retaining many of the existing features. We wanted this house to feel the immediacy of its environment. So we carried the exterior front entry style into the interiors, too, as a way to bring the beautiful outdoors in. In addition, we added patios to all the bedrooms to make them feel much bigger. Luckily for us, our temperate California climate makes it possible for the patios to be used consistently throughout the year. The original kitchen design did not have exposed beams, but we decided to replicate the motif of the 30" living room beams in the kitchen as well, making it one of our favorite details of the house. To make the kitchen more functional, we added a second island allowing us to separate kitchen tasks. The sink island works as a food prep area, and the bar island is for mail, crafts, and quick snacks. We designed the primary bedroom as a relaxation sanctuary – something we highly recommend to all parents. It features some of our favorite things: a cognac leather reading chair next to a fireplace, Scottish plaid fabrics, a vegetable dye rug, art from our favorite cities, and goofy portraits of the kids. --- Project designed by Courtney Thomas Design in La Cañada. This was a bathroom designed for two teenagers. They wanted ease of use, something fun and funky that works. I need to work with pre existing black aluminium window frames, so hence the addition of black tapware. To provide texture to the space, I designed the custom made vanity and added fluting to the panels. To create a 'beachy" but not cliched feel, I used a gorgeous Terrazzo bench top by Vulcano tiles here in Australia. I chose mosaic wall tiles via Surface Gallery in Stanmore in Sydney's inner West,, to add some texture to the walls. To work with the rest of the house I used some timber look tiles from Beaumont Tiles, to create a warm and fuzzy feel. I simply loved creating this project. And it was all made so easy having amazing clients1

The guest bathroom has the most striking matte glass patterned tile on both the backsplash and in the bathtub/shower combination. A floating wood vanity has a white quartz countertop and mid-century modern sconces on either side of the round mirror.

The shower and bath plumbing installation in a champagne bronze Delta 17 series with a dual function pressure balanced shower system and integrated volume control with hand shower. A clean line square white drop-in tub to finish the stunning shower area. ALL NEW FLOORING, WALL TILE & CABINETS For this updated design, the homeowners choose a Calcutta white for their floor tile. All new paint for walls and cabinets along with new hardware and lighting. Making this remodel a stunning project!

This is a black-and-white bathroom at a Brooklyn brownstone project of ours. Its centerpiece is a large, wall-mounted utility sink. The floor has mosaic marble tile, and the walls have white subway tile with accents of black tile.

The clients wanted a spa-like feel to their new master bathroom. So, we created an open, serene space made airy by the glass wall separating the tub/shower area from the vanity/toilet area. Keeping the palate neutral gave this space a luxe look while the windows brought the outside in.
