Our clients called us wanting to not only update their master bathroom but to specifically make it more functional. She had just had knee surgery, so taking a shower wasn’t easy. They wanted to remove the tub and enlarge the shower, as much as possible, and add a bench. She really wanted a seated makeup vanity area, too. They wanted to replace all vanity cabinets making them one height, and possibly add tower storage. With the current layout, they felt that there were too many doors, so we discussed possibly using a barn door to the bedroom. We removed the large oval bathtub and expanded the shower, with an added bench. She got her seated makeup vanity and it’s placed between the shower and the window, right where she wanted it by the natural light. A tilting oval mirror sits above the makeup vanity flanked with Pottery Barn “Hayden” brushed nickel vanity lights. A lit swing arm makeup mirror was installed, making for a perfect makeup vanity! New taller Shiloh “Eclipse” bathroom cabinets painted in Polar with Slate highlights were installed (all at one height), with Kohler “Caxton” square double sinks. Two large beautiful mirrors are hung above each sink, again, flanked with Pottery Barn “Hayden” brushed nickel vanity lights on either side. Beautiful Quartzmasters Polished Calacutta Borghini countertops were installed on both vanities, as well as the shower bench top and shower wall cap. Carrara Valentino basketweave mosaic marble tiles was installed on the shower floor and the back of the niches, while Heirloom Clay 3x9 tile was installed on the shower walls. A Delta Shower System was installed with both a hand held shower and a rainshower. The linen closet that used to have a standard door opening into the middle of the bathroom is now storage cabinets, with the classic Restoration Hardware “Campaign” pulls on the drawers and doors. A beautiful Birch forest gray 6”x 36” floor tile, laid in a random offset pattern was installed for an updated look on the floor. New glass paneled doors were installed to the closet and the water closet, matching the barn door. A gorgeous Shades of Light 20” “Pyramid Crystals” chandelier was hung in the center of the bathroom to top it all off! The bedroom was painted a soothing Magnetic Gray and a classic updated Capital Lighting “Harlow” Chandelier was hung for an updated look. We were able to meet all of our clients needs by removing the tub, enlarging the shower, installing the seated makeup vanity, by the natural light, right were she wanted it and by installing a beautiful barn door between the bathroom from the bedroom! A small space deserves just as much attention as a large space. This powder room is long and narrow. We didn't have the luxury of adding a vanity under the sink which also wouldn't have provided much storage since the plumbing would have taken up most of it. Using our creativity we devised a way to introduce corner/upper storage while adding a counter surface to this small space through custom millwork. In this very compact guest/powder room bath (51 sq. ft), a Calacatta gold marble countertop, backsplash, shower threshold, shower niche and wall caps are seamlessly combined with a Calacatta gold porcelain wall and shower pan tile for the shower and vanity. A 12" round undermount Bates & Bates Donna sink was paired with an off-set single lever Grohe Allure faucet. A wall hung Lyptus sink base with Schaub Italian Design Mosaic cabinet pulls is complimented by a matching custom medicine cabinet which is recessed into the wall with the appearance of a simple mirror frame. Hinged LED vertical lights are mounted on the medicine cabinet frame, allowing the user to angle the lights in for perfect grooming illumination. This compact ensuite guest bathroom is inspired by nature and incorporates a biophilic design. The floors are finished with a wood look plank tile that is continued up the shower wall creating a contrasting feature. The remaining walls are tiled with a smooth glossy white tile and offer a clean and modern feel, brightening up the small space. A floating white vanity with smart storage was sourced to make the most use of the area. The south-facing, high awning window offers direct views of the mature trees on the property and allows the bright morning light to flood the space. The window ledge is styled with fresh herbs including lavender and eucalyptus that release invigorating and refreshing aromas.

Light and Airy shiplap bathroom was the dream for this hard working couple. The goal was to totally re-create a space that was both beautiful, that made sense functionally and a place to remind the clients of their vacation time. A peaceful oasis. We knew we wanted to use tile that looks like shiplap. A cost effective way to create a timeless look. By cladding the entire tub shower wall it really looks more like real shiplap planked walls. The center point of the room is the new window and two new rustic beams. Centered in the beams is the rustic chandelier. A coastal oasis in New Jersey. This project was for a house with no master bathroom. The couple thought how great it would be to have a master suite that encompassed a luxury bath, walk-in closet, laundry room, and breakfast bar area. We did it. Coastal themed master suite starting with a luxury bathroom adorned in shiplap and wood-plank tile floor. The vanity offers lots of storage with drawers and countertop cabinets. Freestanding bathtub overlooks the bay. The large walkin tile shower is beautiful. Separate toilet area offers privacy which is nice to have in a bedroom suite concept.
