The charming rustic presence of this piece is complemented with gorgeous rustic vibes. It definitely has a lot of presence, and the charisma is enhanced by the stunning authentic solid wood grain that it has been handcrafted from. You’ll definitely appreciate its great heirloom quality and great visual versatility that allows it to be featured in a huge variety of interior design styles.
The design of this hall tree bench is very fluid, but can be divided into 3 parts. The top comprises 2 display shelves where you can feature decorative accessories. It has a cornice-like extension to complement its ornamental value as well. The middle part is made entirely of plain solid wood backing and has 5 hand-wrought metal hooks at the top from where coats, hats, umbrellas, and other winter paraphernalia could be hung from.
The bottom transitions into a trunk-style credenza – complete with a top pull-up opening. You can stow your boots and other miscellaneous items here. Its front is embellished with wainscot style designs to complement the design of the upper half, and the whole thing is supported on squat platform-style feet.

Doubling as a custom jewelry studio and guest retreat, the cottage’s timeless design was inspired by old National Parks rough-stone shelters that the owners had fallen in love with. A single living space boasts custom built-ins for jewelry work, a Murphy bed for overnight guests, and a stone fireplace for warmth and relaxation. A cozy loft nestles behind rustic timber trusses above. Expansive sliding glass doors open to an outdoor living terrace overlooking a serene wooded meadow.

Newschool Builders LLCThe cobblers kids have no shoes rang true as this builder worked on his own home for many years. Originally a 1980’s split level, this project slowly transformed from a once outdated and run down building into a beautiful contemporary home. Mixing natural wood and stone created a classic, yet contemporary feel throughout the interior and exterior.
A full gut down to the studs allowed the structure to be up fitted with new mechanicals, electrical, insulation, windows and doors. We moved the kitchen to the south side, removed the attic and built full length dormers and a stair tower allowing epic views of cables hump. The interior is built out with custom builtins, cabinets and furniture. The exterior was laid out in a way that makes entertaining a dream. Landscaping and hardscaping tied this whole project together. It feels good to finish building out your own home from a dream all the way through to reality.

Lindsay McCormick DesignThis is a small nook on the other side of the foyer. It's a great space for storage of keys, mail, sunglasses ect. Console table came from my husbands grandmother's basement and the medicine cabinet - now storage compartment was a item I've had for over 10 years, but works great here. Vintage suit case was found on bulk garbage day from a neighbour. McCormick(our last name) tin was given to us from my mother-in-law and the vintage shoe cleaning caddy from my mother. Total cost for nook: paint!
