The entry stairs provide a place for meeting and conducting farewells, or for sitting and enjoying the winter sun and summer breezes. Before entering the home, guests can catch a glimpse of the internal garden and walkway, whilst the oversize sliding door provides security and privacy when desired. Being built in a flood zone, the walls are required to be single skin construction, otherwise known as exposed stud. With structure on display, neat construction is essential.
