Inspire QA neutral color scheme and unassuming accessories create a style that's the perfect blend of old and new. The sleek lines of a minimalist design are showcase in the Sofia Platform bed, complemented by modern, understated bedding. Amidst the warm, walnut wood finishes and beige backdrop, the bedspread's warm gray fabric and accent chair's charcoal upholstery add dimension to the space. A soft, fleece-white rug underfoot references the bed's headboard and brings an airy and inviting sense to the overall design.

Cathie Hong InteriorsThis 1960s home was in original condition and badly in need of some functional and cosmetic updates. We opened up the great room into an open concept space, converted the half bathroom downstairs into a full bath, and updated finishes all throughout with finishes that felt period-appropriate and reflective of the owner's Asian heritage.
DesignFix LLCThis San Francisco home had beautifully restored interior details, including curved window walls, wood wainscoting, and an arched fireplace. We furnished it with a blend of modern and traditional pieces to express the minimal and laid-back feel desired by our clients.
Belltown Design LLCComplete with Jonathan Adler decorative pillows, the bed is for lounging on a Saturday afternoon. Breathe Design StudioCompleted in 2017, this project features midcentury modern interiors with copper, geometric, and moody accents. The design was driven by the client's attraction to a grey, copper, brass, and navy palette, which is featured in three different wallpapers throughout the home. As such, the townhouse incorporates the homeowner's love of angular lines, copper, and marble finishes. The builder-specified kitchen underwent a makeover to incorporate copper lighting fixtures, reclaimed wood island, and modern hardware. In the master bedroom, the wallpaper behind the bed achieves a moody and masculine atmosphere in this elegant "boutique-hotel-like" room. The children's room is a combination of midcentury modern furniture with repetitive robot motifs that the entire family loves. Like in children's space, our goal was to make the home both fun, modern, and timeless for the family to grow into. This project has been featured in Austin Home Magazine, Resource 2018 Issue.

The CousinsOn our new series for ellentube, we are focused on creating affordable spaces in a short time ($1,000 budget & 24 hrs). This small Master bedroom needed stage for the owners plants and a feature wall that put them on display. We custom built this headboard to the ceiling for only $50!

SKP DesignSKP Design has completed a frame up renovation of a 1956 Spartan Imperial Mansion. We combined historic elements, modern elements and industrial touches to reimagine this vintage camper which is now the showroom for our new line of business called Ready To Roll.

You'll see a spectrum of materials, from high end Lumicor translucent door panels to curtains from Walmart. We invested in commercial LVT wood plank flooring which needs to perform and last 20+ years but saved on decor items that we might want to change in a few years. Other materials include a corrugated galvanized ceiling, stained wall paneling, and a contemporary spacious IKEA kitchen. Vintage finds include an orange chenille bedspread from the Netherlands, an antique typewriter cart from Katydid's in South Haven, a 1950's Westinghouse refrigerator and the original Spartan serial number tag displayed on the wall inside.
