Libby Langdon Interiors: Navy Day

Libby Langdon was inspired by the holiday, Navy Day, established on October 27th, 1922 by the Navy League of the United States. For so many that live in the Hamptons, being out on the water and experiencing the coastline is the escape from the routine of regular life to enjoy something simple and special. Navy blue, crisp white and classic water photographs will pain the picture of want Libby wants to live in, in Bridgehampton. As a hallway is often times a forgotten space, this room has been designed as a "gallery" to make it feel more special.

What drew Libby to Holiday House and makes it especially exciting to participate is the fact that many of her friends who were diagnosed with breast cancer survived BECAUSE of the amazing strides in research, diagnosis and treatment. The success of survival is directly tied to wonderful projects like Holiday House Hamptons that raise not only awareness, but imperative financial support to help discover new treatments and, hopefully one day, a cure for this pervasive disease.
