The kitchen was all designed to be integrated to the garden. The client made great emphasis to have the sink facing the garden so an L shaped kitchen was designed which also serves as kitchen bar. An enormous rooflight brings lots of light into the space.

This is a lovely, 2 story home in Littleton, Colorado. It backs up to the High Line Canal and has truly stunning mountain views. When our clients purchased the home it was stuck in a 1980's time warp and didn't quite function for the family of 5. They hired us to to assist with a complete remodel. We took out walls, moved windows, added built-ins and cabinetry and worked with the clients more rustic, transitional taste. Check back for photos of the clients kitchen renovation! The property is a Victorian mid-terrace family home in London Fields, within the Graham Road & Mapledene Conservation Area. The property is a great example of a period Victorian terraced house with some fantastic original details still in tact. Despite this the property was in poor condition and desperately needed extensive refurbishment and upgrade. As such a key objective of the brief was to overhaul the existing property, and replace all roof finishes, windows, plumbing, wiring, bathrooms, kitchen and internal fixtures & finishes. Despite the generous size of the property, an extension was required to provide a new open plan kitchen, dining and living hub. The new wraparound extension was designed to retain a large rear courtyard which had dual purpose: firstly the courtyard allowed a generous amount of daylight and natural ventilation into the new dining area, existing rear reception/ study room and the new downstairs shower room and utility zone. Secondly, as the property is end of terrace a side access from the street already existed, therefore the rear courtyard allowed a second access point at the centre of the ground floor plan. Around this entrance are located a new cloaks area, ground floor WC and shower room, together with a large utility zone providing most of the utilities and storage requirements for the property. At first floor the bathroom was reconfigured and increased in size, and the ceilings to both the bathroom and bedroom within the rear projection were vaulted, creating a much greater sense of space, and also allowing rooflights to bring greater levels of daylight and ventilation into these rooms. The property was fully refitted with new double glazed sash windows to the front and new timber composite windows to the rear. A new heating system was installed throughout, including new column radiators to all rooms, and a hot water underfloor heating system to the rear extension. The existing cellar was damp proofed and used to house the new heating system and utility room. A carefully coordinated palette of materials and standard products are then used to provide both high performance, and also a simple modern aesthetic which we believe compliments the quality and character of the period features present in the property. https://www.archea.co/section492684_746999.html

This luxury kitchen was designed for our clients based in Denham, West London. Tall ceiling high dark walnut units are designed across the outer of the kitchen. A stand out island takes centre stage with Siemens gas and induction hobs for cooking and space to fit up to 6 people. A pop up socket with plug and usb power is cleverly hidden within the worktop, allowing easy access to use worktop appliances or laptops when working from home. Beautifully lit brass shelves are incorporate into the design and match the warm brown and gold colour veins in the worktop. The kitchen features a bespoke hidden pantry and bar with carbon grey internal units. Appliances used through out the kitchen include, Siemens, Falmac and Quooker.

The striking copper-finished island stands as a centerpiece, exuding warmth and sophistication against the backdrop of the deep green cabinetry. You can create an environment that reflects your personality and lifestyle. Hand made Belfast sink in Mottled Blue creates a unique statement piece and focal point. Client used own washing machine and existing American fridge freezer but with the option to change to integrated at a later date.

Waterside Apartment overlooking Falmouth Marina and Restronguet. This apartment was a blank canvas of Brilliant White and oak flooring. It now encapsulates shades of the ocean and the richness of sunsets, creating a unique, luxury and colourful space.

Contemporary German Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex A rethink of this Horsham kitchen helped create a new functional island space, new kitchen entrance and matching utility. The Brief This client sought to make changes to their previous kitchen involving a rethink of their kitchen island, in addition to an all-round modernisation. From early project conversations it was clear that well organised storage was key, as well as including plenty of worktop space. As part of the project, creating a new doorway into the kitchen was also required, as well as an in keeping renovation of a utility space. Design Elements Designer Alistair has utilised a layout not dissimilar from the previous kitchen, instead replacing stand-alone island with a peninsula island space connected to the kitchen. This minor layout change helped to incorporate the vast worktop space this client required, as well as the social island area that the client desired. A subtle two-tone theme was another wish of the client, with glossy handleless finishes Satin Grey and Slate Grey contributing to the contemporary aesthetic of this space. The design is accompanied by plenty of lighting options to add a further modern feel, including undercabinet downlights, ceiling downlights and plinth lighting. Behind the hob a glass splashback has been included which has been chosen in a black shimmer finish, complimenting the overall design as well as the white quartz work surfaces, named Snowy Ibiza. Special Inclusions The client was keen to keep the kitchen area feeling light and spacious, and so another key part of the design was the use of full-height cabinetry to house the majority of appliances. Here a number of Neff appliances feature, including a Slide & Hide oven, combination oven, warming drawer, refrigerator and freezer which have both been integrated behind furniture. A Neff hob has been placed just to the side, above which a built-in Neff extractor is integrated to remove any cooking odours. Opposite, a Quooker boiling water tap has been installed above a Blanco quartz composed sink which ties in nicely with the chosen work surface. Looking towards the utility area, sideboard style furniture has been included as a space to store small appliances that are used daily, as well as cupboard space for added extra storage. Here you can also see the new doorway into the kitchen, which leads from the hallway of this property. Project Highlight A matching utility upgrade was a key part of this project, and designer Alistair was tasked with integrating extra storage, laundry appliances, plus a small sink area. This area makes use of Satin Grey furniture and a laminate work surface option. Beneath the work surface you might also spot a bed area for this client’s pooch. The End Result For this project designer Alistair has created a clever design to achieve all the elements of this project brief, including an important island change and a matching utility.
