This hallway with a mudroom bench was designed mainly for storage. Spaces for boots, purses, and heavy items were essential. Beadboard lines the back of the cabinets to create depth. The cabinets are painted a gray-green color to camouflage into the surrounding colors.

For this showhouse, Celene chose the Desert Oak Laminate in the Herringbone style (it is also available in a matching straight plank). This floor runs from the front door through the hallway, into the open plan kitchen / dining / living space.

In this space, two solutions coexist on the same wall. On the one hand: the narrow hallway needed a distraction that would make it spectacular and distract from its scant dimensions. For this reason, a hand-carved panel with 3D plants was designed to provide a sense of depth with the shadows of the floor lights.
And on the other hand, above the carved panel there is a system of rotating vertical slats that respond to the two needs raised by the clients. One wanted that wall open and the other wanted it closed. This way you get everything in one.

House by Mia
New project reveal! Over the next week, I’ll be sharing the renovation of an adorable 1920s cottage - set in a lovely quiet area of Dulwich - which had had it's 'soul stolen' by a refurbishment that whitewashed all the spaces and removed all features. The new owners came to us to ask that we breathe life back into what they knew was a house with great potential.
?
The floors were solid and wiring all up to date, so we came in with a concept of 'modern English country' that would feel fresh and contemporary while also acknowledging the cottage's roots.
?
The clients and I agreed that House of Hackney prints and lots of natural colour would be would be key to the concept.
?
Starting with the downstairs, we introduced shaker panelling and built-in furniture for practical storage and instant character, brought in a fabulous F&B wallpaper, one of my favourite green paints (Windmill Lane by @littlegreenepaintcompany ) and mixed in lots of vintage furniture to make it feel like an evolved home.

This project is a customer case located in Manila, the Philippines. The client's residence is a 95-square-meter apartment. The overall interior design style chosen by the client is a fusion of Nanyang and French vintage styles, combining retro elegance. The entire home features a color palette of charcoal gray, ink green, and brown coffee, creating a unique and exotic ambiance.
The client desired suitable pendant lights for the living room, dining area, and hallway, and based on their preferences, we selected pendant lights made from bamboo and rattan materials for the open kitchen and hallway. French vintage pendant lights were chosen for the living room. Upon receiving the products, the client expressed complete satisfaction, as these lighting fixtures perfectly matched their requirements.
I am sharing this case with everyone in the hope that it provides inspiration and ideas for your own interior decoration projects.

A complete refresh of a dark hall stairs and landing for our Clients, we installed an antiqued mirror wall on the staircase, painted and refreshed the bannisters and staircase, added wallpaper and paint, beading to create panelling and improved the lighting.
We added a second large mirror and console to add grandeur and elegance for the clients and installed some important storage under the staircase to use the space effectively.
We also added a comfortable bespoke chair for the Clients and guests to pop their shoes on and add a texture and sense of comfort to the space.
This is a CGI but the result is inherently the same.

The Maverick creates a new direction to this private residence with redefining this 2-bedroom apartment into an open-concept plan 1-bedroom.
With a redirected sense of arrival that alters the movement the moment you enter this home, it became evident that new shapes, volumes, and orientations of functions were being developed to create a unique statement of living.
All spaces are interconnected with the clarity of glass panels and sheer drapery that balances out the bold proportions to create a sense of calm and sensibility.
The play with materials and textures was utilized as a tool to develop a unique dynamic between the different forms and functions. From the forest green marble to the painted thick molded ceiling and the finely corrugated lacquered walls, to redirecting the walnut wood veneer and elevating the sleeping area, all the spaces are obviously open towards one another that allowed for a dynamic flow throughout.
