Kitchen remodelling

This project was carried out in a subdivision home. It was a typical builder layout - main floor with kitchen separate from the family room and dining room. The three rooms were small and dark and not very functional. It was decided to make the space bigger and to that end the two load-bearing walls were removed to make one large area. Plumbing and Electrical services that were in the bearing wall had to be relocated. The end result was very rewarding and dramatic. Two other projects of the same nature were carried out on the same street.
