Hill Street Santa Monica

The kitchen was the most fun as we kept all the cabinetry but replaced the uppers with taller ones to match in order to utilized space and left no room for dust bunnies atop (lol). I finished the cabinets in a low sheen light grey. I really wanted to create a splash in the room so I added a striped marble waterfall over the existing island. The other “L” shape part of the kitchen is covered in a white quartz for durability. I also wanted to add texture as color was not an option here. So, the backsplash has a very architectural and yet natural design that I installed all over the “L” shape wall to wall, ceiling to counter. We replaced the sink and it’s faucet to update it.
