dana sullivan designsWhen I arrived the client had gorgeous antique pieces against every bit of wall space. We removed almost all of them and worked with the pieces that we were unable to move. I loved this bull head he had and wanted to use it as a statement pieces. I grabbed some wine bottles and glasses from the kitchen and set up a little wine area in the dining room.
The only thing purchased for this area was the faux flowers on the piano and the decor on the dining table.
Tip - Keep your blinds up as much as possible. If winter, you need also to remove your screens.
At Home by DesignThis long, narrow room, offers a living area, dining and open plan kitchen. The flexible space required flexible decor, and colours needed to be echoed around the room, in various intensities to create a cohesive look. This was achieved by adding a mirrored splashback and coloured styling elements.
