The newly designed timeless, contemporary bathroom was created providing much needed storage whilst maintaining functionality and flow. A light and airy skheme using grey large format tiles on the floor and matt white tiles on the walls. A two draw custom vanity in timber provided warmth to the room. The mirrored shaving cabinets reflected light and gave the illusion of depth. Strip lighting in niches, under the vanity and shaving cabinet on a sensor added that little extra touch.

This was a bathroom designed for two teenagers. They wanted ease of use, something fun and funky that works. I need to work with pre existing black aluminium window frames, so hence the addition of black tapware. To provide texture to the space, I designed the custom made vanity and added fluting to the panels. To create a 'beachy" but not cliched feel, I used a gorgeous Terrazzo bench top by Vulcano tiles here in Australia. I chose mosaic wall tiles via Surface Gallery in Stanmore in Sydney's inner West,, to add some texture to the walls. To work with the rest of the house I used some timber look tiles from Beaumont Tiles, to create a warm and fuzzy feel. I simply loved creating this project. And it was all made so easy having amazing clients1

Image of Guest Bathroom. In this high contrast bathroom the dark Navy Blue vanity and shower wall tile installed in chevron pattern pop off of this otherwise neutral, white space. The white grout helps to accentuate the tile pattern on the blue accent wall in the shower for more interest.

Their primary goals were to increase the size of the shower, add a rain head, add a freestanding tub and overall freshen the feel of the space. The existing layout of the bath worked well, so we left the basic footprint the same, but increased the size of the shower and added a freestanding tub on a bit of an angle which allowed for some additional storage. One of the most important things on the wish list was adding a rainhead in the shower, but this was not an easy task with the angled ceiling. We came up with the solution of using an extra long wall-mounted shower arm that was reinforced with a meal bracket attached the ceiling. This did the trick, and no extra framing or insulation was required to make it work. The materials selected for the space are classic and fresh. Large format white oriental marble is used throughout the bath, on the floor in a herrinbone pattern and in a staggered brick pattern on the walls. Alder cabinets with a gray stain contrast nicely with the white marble, while shiplap detail helps unify the space and gives it a casual and cozy vibe. Storage solutions include an area for towels and other necessities at the foot of the tub, roll out shelves and out storage in the vanities and a custom niche and shaving ledge in the shower. We love how just a few simple changes can make such a great impact! A custom shower stall was provided in this bathroom. The angle matches the exterior wall and the stall is extra large to give the owner extra space within. A built-in seat and alcove were necessary features and were built into the design early on. The owner provided the three-part shower head which includes a rain feature to mimic the waterfall tiles.

The homeowners wanted to improve the layout and function of their tired 1980’s bathrooms. The master bath had a huge sunken tub that took up half the floor space and the shower was tiny and in small room with the toilet. We created a new toilet room and moved the shower to allow it to grow in size. This new space is far more in tune with the client’s needs. The kid’s bath was a large space. It only needed to be updated to today’s look and to flow with the rest of the house. The powder room was small, adding the pedestal sink opened it up and the wallpaper and ship lap added the character that it needed

When one thing leads to another...and another...and another... This fun family of 5 humans and one pup enlisted us to do a simple living room/dining room upgrade. Those led to updating the kitchen with some simple upgrades. (Thanks to Superior Tile and Stone) And that led to a total primary suite gut and renovation (Thanks to Verity Kitchens and Baths). When we were done, they sold their now perfect home and upgraded to the Beach Modern one a few galleries back. They might win the award for best Before/After pics in both projects! Stunning bathroom total remodel with large walk in shower, blue double vanity and three shower heads! This shower features a lighted niche and a rain head shower with bench.

This was a reconfiguration of a small bathroom. We added a skylight above the shower to bring in more natural light and used a rich, green tile to ring in some color. The resulting space is a luxurious experience in a small package.

An en-suite bathroom made into a cosy sanctuary using hand made panels and units from our 'Oast House' range. Panels and units are made entirely from Accoya to ensure suitability for wet areas and finished in our paint shop with our specially formulated paint mixed to match Farrow & Ball 'Card Room Green' . Wall paper is from Morris & Co signature range of wall paper and varnished to resist moisture. Floor and wall tiles are from Fired Earth.

This spacious primary bathroom transformed from drab and dark to a refreshed, bright bathroom. Simply removing the dropped ceiling and fluorescent lights from the vanity area and replacing them with modern recessed can light brought this bathroom back to life. The carpet that once draped the floor was replaced by a gray wood-like vinyl plank which transitioned beautifully to the calcatta tiled shower. The dated vanity that once housed two sinks was updated to white custom-made cabinetry topped with a white with subtle veining Arabescato quartz countertop. A linen closet replaced the second vanity sink, providing ample storage space. Polished nickel finishes repeat about from the Hydrorail shower fixtures to the sink faucets. Two contemporary sconce lights a stylish mirror balance and adorns the focal wall. To create harmony within the bathroom and the rest of the house, we kept contrast to a minimum, using hints of color to create accents.

The primary suite bathroom is all about texture. Handmade glazed terra-cotta tile, enameled tub, marble vanity, teak details and oak sills. Black hardware adds contrast. The use of classic elements in a modern way feels fresh and comfortable.
