The dining loggia is set between the main house, and 5 foot stone walls enclosing the space. The aged wood beams, columns and wood decking are covered with handmade clay roof tiles, and provide ample space for a large exterior dining table and stone fireplace with wood surround and mantle. Chicago common brick in a traditional basketweave pattern and mediterranean inspired plantings complete the space. Set on 150 Acres, this sprawling project features an Indoor Oval Pool that connects to an outdoor swimming pool with a 65'0" lap lane. The pools are connected by a moveable swimming pool door that actuates with the turn of a key. The indoor pool house also features an indoor spa and baby pool, and is crowned at one end by a custom Oyster Shell. The Indoor sauna is connected to both main pool sections, and is accessible from the outdoor pool underneath the swim-up grotto and waterfall. The French Villa's courtyard features a built-in exterior fireplace with two black trellises' on both sides, a seating area for four, and a French-inspired fountain.

A silver willowleaf pear (Pyrus salicifolia 'Pendula') is the centerpiece of an island bed containing Sambucus 'Black Lace' and plenty of ground cover perennials. Island beds and gravel paths are useful for breaking up a large yard without resorting to lawn.
