The design for this lovely Somerset home blends both classic and contemporary themes. The entrance hall is a welcoming space and is softened by the John Cullen Lighting system, which creates a soft glow of ambient light. The drawing room walls are rendered with ebony and ivory polished plaster, and teamed with wool and cashmere soft furnishings, creating a strong graphic design style. Dramatic floor uplighters highlight the Philippe Starck mirror, and the Barbara Barry cross-back dining chairs, create an intimate and glamorous dining room.

From our initial meeting, Ms. Corridor had the ability to catch my vision and quickly paint a picture for me of the new interior design for my three bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, and 3,000 sq. ft. penthouse apartment. 60 St. Mary’s Lane, Upminster Creating a streamlined and contemporary design utilising a neutral colour scheme. Ultimately this new development was about creating 5 luxury apartments, all with unique features. The aim was to enhance local surroundings and to create a luxury building, both inside and out. Our involvement began at the planning stage, throughout construction to completion. Our intention was to create a space with a cool contemporary yet classic interior, looking at the bigger picture as well as the finer design details. The calming muted colour palette combines with natural light to create an inviting and useable interior, enhancing the feeling of serenity and space and creating a seamless flow of rooms more conducive to the modern lifestyle.

In this NYC pied-à-terre new build for empty nesters, architectural details, strategic lighting, dramatic wallpapers, and bespoke furnishings converge to offer an exquisite space for entertaining and relaxation. This exquisite console table is complemented by wall sconces in antique gold tones and a large gold-framed mirror. This is a home entrance packed with charisma. The rustic wrought iron chandelier centers the elaborate, custom designed mosaic rug by Claire McSweeney. Balanced by a polished black granite floor, the rug features the amazing beauty and exuberance of marble mosaic tiles. The scheme created by our designer combines a luxurious grand look with a warm dose of coziness so the room still feels inviting. The motif at the centre presents a heavenly 3D illusion and the royal blue scrolls in the border lend a neat finish to the intricate floor design. The flooring is a $60/square feet, highly durable carpet option. The elongated walls with a wooden roof design, feature splendid opulence. The palette is warm, with the walls boasting a uniform beige paint. The Chesterfield Chair has been upholstered in golden-brown velvet cloth providing a comfortable, soft seating. The rich custom wrought iron work at the top of the vintage wooden door displays an extraordinary level of style. Cost cutting can be achieved by going for a less detailed design with similar or varying dimensions. All flooring materials used are of Spanish and Italian origin, with manufacturing done by Italian trained artisans. Photo Credits: John Edwards
