Bokhara rug

Our Bokhara rug collection is woven with the finest New Zealand and blended Pakistani wools. Mori designs originate from Turkmenistan and other Caucasian locals and are characterized by repeating rows of geometric motifs know as guls. The high lustre wash provides a richness and sheen. Often called two rugs in one, the Pakistani Bokhara appearance from one direction is notably different from the other. One side providing richness and depth, the other an almost silk-like lustre!
