Complimenting the veining of the Calacatta Marble countertop, the bathrooms backsplash is ornamented by these accentual herringbone subway tiles. With black grout, the tiling's form projects off of the backsplash, giving the space the sensation of greater depth and dynamic of form.

Nestled within an established west-end enclave, this transformation is both contemporary yet traditional—in keeping with the surrounding neighbourhood's aesthetic. A family home is refreshed with a spacious master suite, large, bright kitchen suitable for both casual gatherings and entertaining, and a sizeable rear addition. The kitchen's crisp, clean palette is the perfect neutral foil for the handmade backsplash, and generous floor-to-ceiling windows provide a vista to the lush green yard and onto the Humber ravine. The rear 2-storey addition is blended seamlessly with the existing home, revealing a new master suite bedroom and sleek ensuite with bold blue tiling. Two additional additional bedrooms were refreshed to update juvenile kids' rooms to more mature finishes and furniture—appropriate for young adults.

A colorful makeover for a little girl’s bathroom. The goal was to make bathtime more fun and enjoyable, so we opted for striking teal accents on the vanity and built-in. Balanced out by soft whites, grays, and woods, the space is bright and cheery yet still feels clean, spacious, and calming. Unique cabinets wrap around the room to maximize storage and save space for the tub and shower. Cabinet color is Hemlock by Benjamin Moore. Indoor privacy never looked so good. Custom shower doors or shower enclosures enhance the look of your bathroom tenfold. Keep is simple or add some custom color to match the theme of the room. Slumped glass or cast glass provides the ultimate privacy but maintains a sleek, contemporary look. The standard texture featured is "Aqua Small" on clear glass.

This young family wanted a home that was bright, relaxed and clean lined which supported their desire to foster a sense of openness and enhance communication. Graceful style that would be comfortable and timeless was a primary goal.

We designed this bathroom makeover for an episode of Bath Crashers on DIY. This is how they described the project: "A dreary gray bathroom gets a 180-degree transformation when Matt and his crew crash San Francisco. The space becomes a personal spa with an infinity tub that has a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Marble floors and a marble shower kick up the luxury factor, and a walnut-plank wall adds richness to warm the space. To top off this makeover, the Bath Crashers team installs a 10-foot onyx countertop that glows at the flip of a switch." This was a lot of fun to participate in. Note the ceiling mounted tub filler. The renovation of this contemporary Brighton residence saw the introduction of warm natural materials to soften an otherwise cold contemporary interior. Recycled Australian hardwoods, natural stone and textural fabrics were used to add layers of interest and visual comfort.

Richard Chivers www.richard chivers photography A project in Chichester city centre to extend and improve the living and bedroom space of an end of terrace home in the conservation area. The attic conversion has been upgraded creating a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. A new kitchen is housed inside the single storey extension, with zinc cladding and responsive skylights The brick and flint boundary wall has been sensitively restored and enhances the contemporary feel of the extension.

Custom cabinetry in the client's favorite robin's egg blue color. Cabinet hardware is white glass and chrome.
