Alderley House Renovation

Once a small dark dining room off pokey living area is now a light filled guest bedroom. A new large double hung window was added to replace a small 1970s aluminium one. The original 1940's cornices were retained an restored and new period architraves and skirting were added. The art work was commissioned by Glenda Charles and evolved the clients favourite colours of cream, blue and gold. The bedspread is hand finished and Portuguese. The bedlinen Turkish and English. The cushions in mixed fabrics of Linen and silk. The antique brass lamps, shades, Morrish style mirrors and bedside tables were all sourced by Interiors by Daryl Wark Hannah Puechmarin
