Modern Home Interiors and Exteriors, featuring clean lines, textures, colors and simple design with floor to ceiling windows. Hardwood, slate, and porcelain floors, all natural materials that give a sense of warmth throughout the spaces. Some homes have steel exposed beams and monolith concrete and galvanized steel walls to give a sense of weight and coolness in these very hot, sunny Southern California locations. Kitchens feature built in appliances, and glass backsplashes. Living rooms have contemporary style fireplaces and custom upholstery for the most comfort. Bedroom headboards are upholstered, with most master bedrooms having modern wall fireplaces surounded by large porcelain tiles. Project Locations: Ojai, Santa Barbara, Westlake, California. Natural light exposes the beautiful details of this great room. Coffered ceiling encompasses a majestic old world feeling of this stone and shiplap fireplace. Comfort and beauty combo.

This living room received a refresh when the outdated corner fireplace was removed, which opened up the room and allowed for a more flexible layout. A new gas fireplace was installed, along with two sidelight windows to enhance the natural light and exterior landscaping. The walls and ceilings were smoothed, and crown molding and trim was added to give the room a clean, but polished look. The palette were kept neutral so the room would have a cohesive feel throughout, while the textures add interest.

This contemporary transitional great family living room has a cozy lived-in look, but still looks crisp with fine custom made contemporary furniture made of kiln-dried Alder wood from sustainably harvested forests and hard solid maple wood with premium finishes and upholstery treatments. Stone textured fireplace wall makes a bold sleek statement in the space.

This formal living room is located directly off of the main entry of a traditional style located just outside of Seattle on Mercer Island. Our clients wanted a space where they could entertain, relax and have a space just for mom and dad. The center focus of this space is a custom built table made of reclaimed maple from a bowling lane and reclaimed corbels, both from a local architectural salvage shop. We then worked with a local craftsman to construct the final piece.
