There are no 3 meters sofa beds. Maximum you get is a 2 seater, which is obviously not enough to seat 4 or 5 people. Sofa beds are not even close in comfort to the actual orthopaedic mattress and you alway need to make a bed. In the option provided all you need is to pull comfortable 160 cm wide bed down in seconds and you have everything ready to sleep. So to answer your question- no, sofa bed does not work the same as folding bed!!!
